Shiver

And no, I am not making a lame joke about the weather. Although, I do have one thing to say. Will it PLEASE snow already?!?!? It will this weekend, I know it. We have Boar's Head, our annual church play, and it ALWAYS snows on Boar's Head. It snowed so much once, we thought they'd cancel it. Anyway, enough about pig heads. I petted it. For some reason it has asparagus sticking out of it's mouth. Apparently it's healthy. Righto. CARRY ON!
So, Shiver is a book by Maggie stiefvater. If anyone could tell me how to pronounce that last name, that'd be great. So, anyway, I've been reading it. yeah.
Shiver is about a girl named Grace. She lives in Minnesota (eh don't yah know?) and her back yard drops off/goes into a woods. in the woods, there are wolves. She watches the wolves when they come to the edge of the forest, and one wolf, a yellow eyed wolf, watches her as well.
It turns out that these wolves aren't ordinary wolves. Betcha didn't see THAT one coming! Something happens to a local boy, and the wolves are prime suspects. hunters go out to kill all of them, and after Grace's epic fail attempt to stop them, she returns home to find a naked boy lying on her deck bleeding. (awkward)
she takes him to the hospital, and after the bullet is taken out and he's stitched up, he heals instantly. Grace has by now figured out he's a werewolf, and they're in love with each other.
That's about how far I am, other than some random stuff, like them kissing, Grace getting glared at constantly by a rich girl with a Chihuahua rat,and her hyper friend on coffee. COFFEE!
It's a pretty good book, and I found myself dreaming about it last night only to be awakened by the full moonlight in my eye, (creepy. I IS A WEREWOLF! RAWRR!) but I usually dream about books I read anyway. Including Edward, gosh darn it.
The only thing I didn't like about it is it reeks Twilight. Josh at the bookstore (the best source for werewolf knowledge) said it was like twilight but with werewolves, but I wasn't aware it was literally BASED off of Twilight. Oh, and I checked the publication dates, because I have written stuff before then months later found something exactly the same, and Shiver was written this year. Twilight was written in 2005! Actually, published, excuse me.
Another oddity about this book is I think I may have telepathically told the author some things. There's a few random comments about emos, along with a wallaby. I"m waiting for pickles and pink swords, though I don't think the pink sword has much in common with werewolves.
Well, I think that's all I have. Save travels, and watch out for demonic flying wombats!

Yeah, that's all I got. Anyways, I know, I know, I haven't posted since the lame sloth post. I'm sorry. Life's been rough, and quite busy. I've been riding, showing, dancing, partying, swimming, running, jumping, and running around Iowa City in a cloak with my cousin. Oh yeah, we went there.

Anyway, so I"ve been drawing stuff lately. And asking my friends what their favorite animals are. They have no clue why, and they won't find out for some time. BRU HA HA!!!!

So I'm doing another cover for Hawkie/ThePetShop's book, Orphans Among Dragons, or as we call it for short, OAD. I drew a rough...make that four year old sketch of how it's gonna be. HERE SHE IS!!!

worst bunnyhero EVER!!!! Oh, yeah, and other schtuffs

So I went onto Bunnyhero today. They have some really cute little guys there. but I found the WORST....BUNNYHERO.....ADOPTABLE......EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! IT"S....A....SLOTH.....! (hence....all.....the....periods....) Here it is. I named mine Sid. THat's right, after Shid the Shloth.

So, it's been a long weekend. Memorial Day, of course. Everything was offset by the fact that we went to church on Saturday instead of Sunday(O M P) and for some reason I decided to sleep until noon for THREE DAYS STRAIGHT! My brother got a dog, who's name is Guinness, (yes, lke the beer) he's a cute little dog, but he hasn't been fixed yet and he does......certain things....anyway, subject change.
You may or may not have seen my mom's blog, but she had pictures and videos of our horses on there. We took them swimming, and I ook Wakiya swimming today again despite the low temperatures. Brrrr. It got warmer after I got out in the wind and then got back in though. She actaull swam, but I was too afraid to grab her wihers and join in on the fun. And she did it really quickly. Withers are like their shoulder blades sort of. And the reason most guys aren't often seen riding bareback. hhehehe. ummmm. Yeah. that's all I've got. We, (Caitlin and I) have been really busy and haven't done anything with THE MOVIE. I''m not sure we ever will. It was fun to try to though. Oh well. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! RUNETH AWAY! I HATE SPELLCHECK! IT SAYS THAT SPELLCHECK IS WRONG! Anyway. So I've been assigned to all this art. Not that that's this most horrible thing in the world. :D I'm illistrating Pet Shop's book, Riversong, that's three pictures, (Yeah, I know, SO HARD! /sarcasm) The first one is the cover, and the other two are for the first page of the book and the last page. I probably shouldn't tell you what they look like, IT"S CLASSIFIED!! COOL! I"VE NEVER ACTUALLY BEEN ABLE TO SAY THAT BEFORE AND ACTUALLY MEAN IT! Oh, wait, I guess it isn't so classified. The first one (cover) is of our favorite atheist bird Argadine, AKA Argy. MY NAME NO ONE CAN USE IT EXCEPT FOR ME AND PET SHOP! Anyway, I already drew it, and I bet with a lot of digging I could find the picture of the original on her mom's blog. It looks a whole lot better. And The pet shop is right, I seriously need to work on my bird heads. Well Caitlin, you need to work on your arrows. NOODLE ARROWS! The other two are of Nova and Isis probably. I haven't started on the one yet. Oh wel, I think I'll go draw now. Or look at Potter Puppet Pals. BYEBYE

Sorry about the not posting in so long. I just didn't know what to write about. But I do have a little bit.
I got my horse finally. She's a brat. And my mom and I rode through a field yesterday that we really didn't have permission to go through. But it's not a big deal, and it's not like we would get into any trouble.
Not sure if any of you know about my book or not. No, not that one, the one I might actually LET people see. I found a name for the evil bad guy, and it's not Zurn. I didn't like Zurn, it sounded too much like ZERG! BUZZ LIGHTYEAR, I AM YOUR FATHER! NOOOOOOO! OKay, I'm done now. Anyway, the name is Saethin! I think that's how it's spelled. Is that an actual word? There aren't any red squggles. Hmm, weird. Oh well, I'll look at it on webster.com or soemthing. okay, that's all I have to say. BYEBYE

FUNKYBOARDS!!!

So I got this new thing. It's called..Are you ready? FUNKYBOARDS!!! I know, that's what the title is, so you already know that. Anyway.
They're these stickers that you put on your keyboard keys. :D:D:D I got BUBBLES! Oh, and Ethan's at basic, so I figure that they'll wear out by the time he gets back (It's his computer too, but at least I didn't go with the flowers or hearts or something" Anyway, so I ca officially say:
